Another interesting website - could be a great resource for students

PlanetQuest is an interesting website from NASA (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) with lots of interesting multimedia to address curriculum. I particularly liked their "Alien Safari" (appropriate for the Grade 6 Earth and Space Science curriculum).

Interview with Arthur C. Clarke

Eleanor Wachtel on Writers and Company re-broadcasted an interview she conducted with Arthur C. Clarke in 2000. Their discussion covers not only his writings but landmark events in science and his views on space travel. The hour-long interview can be downloaded as a podcast and is well worth a listen. You can download the interview from the CBC's podcasting page.

Saturn's Moon Rhea Also May Have Rings - NASA press release

"NASA's Cassini spacecraft has found evidence of material orbiting Rhea, Saturn's second largest moon. This is the first time rings may have been found around a moon.

A broad debris disk and at least one ring appear to have been detected by a suite of six instruments on Cassini specifically designed to study the atmospheres and particles around Saturn and its moons."
